I first began studying photography as a means to relax among a crowd full of people, primarily at concerts and events. Placing focus on the beauty at these events rather than focusing on imperfections and possible discomfort at the front of a concert stage gave me a new perspective which I've cherished since. I have since become fond of being placed in the middle of the action as that's where the energy is for my shots.

My influences are Richard Avedon, Diane Arbus, Annie Leibovitz, Robert Altman, and Linda McCartney.
